Charter School Funds Accepted Enrolling Lessons All Ages
Our family moved to Hector rd. in 2014 because of Jessica's love of horses and the want to share her love with her family. Over the years the family went from two horses up to 8 personally owned. Allen and Jess have 5 children and two grandchildren and all of the wonderful family members that come along with that. Each family member having a horse is not cheap so the running joke is the horses had to get jobs.
The horses having jobs has allowed us to get proper vet care, do upgrades to the property and to share our love of horses with others.
We have limited space for 3 lucky boarders and we have a thriving lesson program. Our lesson program is limited to 3 participants per lesson and 12 total guests per day to ensure we are meeting the guidelines for county code in the event that our boarders visit on a lesson day. We are allowed to have a total of 15 patrons per day.
Per county guidelines we are allowed 11 horses, 11 cattle and actually an unlimited amount of miniature horses, sheep and goats. Being responsible animal owners we of course only have what we can care for.
We do have the ability to get 6 out door use permits though the county of Placer annually and use them for weddings and other special events like ranch parties. This is why we advertise weddings and ranch parties.
Our family sees this land as a gift and we enjoy sharing that gift with not only our family but our ranch community.
We have had some differences with 3 families that live on Hector Road. We appreciate all of our patrons being extremely respectful so we can continue to share the gift of horses in our community.
We say perfectly imperfect because it is perfectly ok to not be perfect as long as you are doing the best you can and working to improve daily.
